When a request from a store cannot be processed, Klarna's servers respond with an error code and message. The messages are sent in the local language of the customer. There can be several reasons why a store receives an error code. When you are using one of our modules the error codes are most common in the checkout process. For example if a customer has entered an address that does not match the one registered, Klarna will return error code 3102 followed by a message explaining that the address does not match. This text will be displayed in the checkout so that the customer can correct it. When using our API you might experience error codes when using function calls. An example is if you use the wrong pno_encoding in add_transaction (there is one for each country) Klarna with respond with error code 9116 and an explanation of the error. Important information: If you are using an API with this version number or older: ASP: 1.31 you will only receive error codes -1,-2,-3,-4,-5,-99 and a short error message. We strongly recommend that you upgrade to a newer version to get the new functionality. Please read this blog post for more information. Please see below for complete lists of our error codes, along with the error texts that are used in each country. |
